Site Supervisor (1099 Contractor) – Graceful Harvest Foundation
Graceful Harvest Foundation is expanding our afterschool meal program to 13 schools in the Metro Atlanta area. Our mission is simple: no child should go home hungry.
We’re looking for reliable and detail oriented Site Supervisors to oversee daily meal service and ensure compliance with USDA/CACFP requirements. This is a 1099 contract role, flexible, part-time work that directly impacts kids in our community.
All contractors must successfully complete a criminal background check and may be required to meet additional school district clearance requirements (e.g., fingerprinting, drug testing, or ID verification) prior to performing site visits
What You’ll Do

Weekly Tasks

Collect required meal count forms and documentation from each school every Friday.

Follow up with school Site Directors by email/phone to ensure forms are accurate and on time.

Deliver forms to Graceful Harvest Foundation’s admin team.

Quarterly Tasks

Visit each assigned school 4 times per year during afterschool meal service (2 unannounced, 2 scheduled).

Observe a meal service to confirm compliance with USDA guidelines.

Review site binders (menus, counts, temps) and complete monitoring reports.

Provide coaching/corrections to the Site Director if anything is missing or out of compliance.

What We’re Looking For

Organized, dependable, and detail-focused.

Comfortable with paperwork, communication, and making follow-ups.

Able to learn USDA/CACFP compliance rules (training provided).

Professional and respectful when working with school staff.

Prior experience in schools, childcare, food service, or nonprofits is a plus, but not required.

Schedule: Flexible, part-time, weekly paperwork collection + quarterly monitoring visits

Location: Multiple schools in the Metro Atlanta area

Compensation: Flat bi-weekly stipend of $850, paid every two weeks, and Travel Stipend: $200 per Site Visit, frequency: Approximately 4 times per year.

Review: Compensation will be reviewed after 90 days, with potential for increase based on performance and program growth.
